![]() Allods online review: Allods online is a free to play 3D MMORPG developed by a Russian company “Astrum Nival”. The gamer offers a vast fantasy world combined with high graphics making it a solid match for “World of Worcraft”. There are six different races in the game breaking into “good guys” and “bad guys”. The “good guys” are: elves, humans and Gibberlings. The Gibberlings are three awesomely cute little creatures which makes playing them an original experience. The “bad guys” are: Xadaganians – sort of evil humans, orcs and arisen – an undead race. Each race has its own set of classes to choose from, some of the classes are unique, and others are more of a standard type that you see in most MMORPGs. The game has a great story line and it offers a great tutorial at the start of the game, which is nice for a change making the leveling process much more enjoyable (at least for my taste). The graphics in the game are very good, you can see right away that every little detail have been paid the necessary attention.
The game has a ship system meaning that you can build your own ship and explore new areas of the game. The ships also provide a PVP experience as well by letting you and your ship crew fight other ships. Overall the game is a really fun experience, surely one that is worth checking out. Pros: Good graphics. The game has original classes and races. Story based and not grinding based. Ship battles are great. Cons: Feels like a WOW clone at first. You have only 2 starting locations and by thus making it sort of boring to check different classes.
